The MPA would like to extend our deepest sympathy to our friends and the family of Officer Paul Tracey at the Waltham Police Department. Yesterday, Officer Paul Tracey was killed in the line of duty while working a detail. Three workers from National Grid also were struck, one of which was also killed. We would like to also extend our thoughts and prayers to their families and friends. Officer Tracey was recently awarded a MPA Lifesaving Medal for his heroic actions during the Brandeis Bus Crash that occurred in 2022.
