After a meeting with HRD and other stakeholders today, it is clear that without greater participation in the exam survey, ALL promotional exams are in peril.
There has been limited participation up to now. Everyone agreed the length is the survey is a roadblock. The survey was formulated by the exam vendor and is necessary in order to defend any future test in response to Tatum.
The response goal is 300 participants for captain, 350 participants for lieutenant and 420 participants for sergeant.
Again without participation, both the makeup exam scheduled for summer as well as the regular September exam cannot go forward. We ask you consider taking the survey to advance the process. Be advised the survey takes approximately 2 hours and can the progress can be saved so you may revisit it over multiple sessions.
