The Cambridge Police Department is in need of our support! In the wake of the Police Reform Bill being signed into law, Cambridge City Councilor Quinton Zondervan is chairing a public safety meeting on Wednesday January 6th, 2021 at 5:00P.M. His intentions are very clear as he has been quoted on social media stating “Budget season is right around the corner and this is the year we defund the police. But it starts with demilitarizing, and I’m chairing a hearing on that 1/6 at 5P.M. Please attend and speak out against the assault rifles and armored military vehicles that don’t belong in our city”
The hearing is scheduled to be held virtually on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 5:00PM. We are asking for our members to show their support of the Cambridge Police by kindly voicing support for our brothers and sisters in the Cambridge Police Department and demand they keep level of funding as well as maintain their emergency safety equipment.
